In October 2016 we received Planning Approval for a new house, within the curtilage of a listed building in Dulwich Village. The house sits on steel columns and spans the end of a linear pond. The ‘non dig’ foundations means there is minimal intervention into tree roots in the vicinity. The house is faced with larch boarding, and mirrored stainless steel panels to reflect the water and the surrounding trees. The Southwark planners stated: “the house within this garden has been sensitively designed to respond to the setting of the house”.
The house is scheduled to go on site in 2017.
