Extension to J.M. Barrie’s House

We are very excited to have been granted planning permission for a sensitive extension to the house once owned occupied by J.M. Barrie. A historic Grade II* listed home set within magnificent gardens and grounds.
AJ Retrofit Awards 2017

We are delighted that our recently completed project ‘Oak Lined House’ has been nominated for a 2017 AJ Retrofit Award. The completely reconfigured central London, end of Terrace Victorian home will be coming to our website soon.
Knox Bhavan show two drawings at the RA Summer Exhibition 2017

The annual RA Summer Exhibition showcases a panorama of the art of today from painting, printmaking, film and photography to sculpture, architectural works and performance art.

Sasha Bhavan joins the Creative Education Trust

Sasha Bhavan has joined the educational charity The Creative Education Trust as a Trustee & Non-Executive Director. The CET is a charity with eight schools and four primaries with a central focus on design.

KBA takes part in the RIBA Mentoring Scheme

For the past term Knox Bhavan have been working with students from the University of East London as part of the RIBA London Student Mentoring Scheme.
Katherine and Ana have been working with two third year, Part I UEL students to provide an insight into the profession by offering them the opportunity to take part in site visits, design meetings and also offering CV tutorials.

Permission granted for new house in Dulwich
20th October 2016
We are delighted to have just received Planning Approval for a new house, within the curtilage of a listed building in Dulwich Village. The Southwark planners stated: “the house within this garden have been sensitively designed to respond to the setting of the house”
The house is scheduled to go on site in 2017.

We’re really pleased to have received the Highly Commended prize at last nights RIBA Regent Street Windows awards for our Molton Brown installation, a collaboration with artist Susie MacMurray.

RIBA Regent Street Windows 2016

5,500 bottles, 3,300 metres of ribbon, 1,250 stainless steel rose leaves, 50 paper roses and 6,500 hand-tied knots later and we’re up! Our collaboration wth artist Susie MacMurray for RIBA Regent Street Windows 2016 is now complete and on display at Molton Brown until Sunday 25th September.

Knox Bhavan & Molton Brown

Knox Bhavan are collaborating with artist Susie MacMurray to create an architectural installation for Molton Brown’s flagship store as part of RIBA Regent Street Windows 2016.
The installations will be up for three weeks from 5-25 September 2016, coinciding with both the London Design Festival and London Fashion Week.

Our London Brownstones project has been shortlisted for the 2015 RIBA London Awards. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 18 May.
