Felix Sagar, Part I Architectural Assistant
Felix joined Knox Bhavan in August 2017 after graduating from the Bartlett School of Architecture with a Bsc (Hons) First Class Degree.
Felix is a talented artist, with considerable skill and a particular expertise in model making. One of his models made at Knox Bhavan was selected for display in the Architecture Room at the RA summer exhibition 2018. He is interested in how things are fabricated and has designed and built significant structures for outside music events. He is accomplished at exploring form through 3D drawing, particularly valuable for explaining and developing complex elements of design. He has much to bring to both the development and beautiful presentation of projects.
Whilst at the Bartlett, he won the Henry Herbert Prize and travelled to Nepal to work with local architects attempting to rebuild devastated villages following the 2015 earthquake. He was also involved in various performance art pieces in the capital, Kathmandu. In the summers of 2017 and 2018, he designed the ‘Pavilion Stage’ and ‘The Clearing’ at Houghton Festival.
