The Cafe in the Gardens, Russell Square, London. 2002
The Café in the Gardens was extensively extended and refurbished for The Bedford Estates. The Café was to complement the Heritage Lottery funded major landscape works. Knox Bhavan worked and consulted with the Landscape Architects of the Gardens (LUC), the London Borough of Camden, English Heritage, Heritage Lottery Funding and the Environment Agency (regarding the relocation of the air quality monitoring unit) to make a building which would both enjoy and contribute to the newly landscaped gardens.
